Eyebrows are one of the most prominent facial features we have. They help accentuate the eyes, shape the face and definitely play a powerful role in communication. As one of the first things people notice when they look at you, don’t you want to have the perfect brows all the time?

Beautifully-groomed brows are a lesser known anti-aging secret. Properly shaped brows can lift your face and make your eyes appear larger and more youthful.

Of course, not everyone is born with perfectly-manicured brows; so my goal is to help you to achieve your dream brows.

What are Ombré Brows?

Ombré Brow is a machine technique that achieves a natural, soft powder look.

Sick and tired of drawing and filling in your eyebrows? I can help with that!

Ombré Powder brows look a lot like your natural brows. They are designed so that the tail of the brow is a lot darker, while it slowly and gradually fades to a more natural shade at the beginning.

This can be very subtle or bold look, depending on your preference. Everyone can pull this look off, and will love it!

This technique is achieved by brushing the skin with a single nano needle. Pigment is built layer by layer creating a color gradient.

I went to Iris for ombré brow work, and I’m so pleased with her work! My brows were essentially a blank canvas, but no more. We all know how significant brows are for framing the face. This changes everything. I would highly recommend booking her!

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE PROCEDURE

I allot 3 hours for your initial procedure. This gives us enough time to go over paperwork, discuss your brow goals, and design your perfect brows.

Shaping your brows is a process that we will do together. We will customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and accentuates your eyes. We will select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone, keeping in mind undertones and skin conditions.

Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum.

Please note:

A touch up is required 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. After that, annual touch ups are recommended to maintain color richness and shape.

For the first 10-12 days, your brows will appear darker, bolder, and thicker due to scab formation and the natural healing process.

Healing Schedule

Days 1-2: Your brows are approximately 20-40% darker, bolder and more solid than your healed result will be. There may be minimal swelling. This is normal. Do not scratch/ pick!

Days 3-4 Your eyebrows may begin to itch and the pigment may appear somewhat raised and patchy. Do not scratch/ pick!

Days 5-7 The skin is now rapidly exfoliating and will shed evenly if left alone. Initially, the color under the skin will appear very light, but will darken with each passing day. Please be patient and give the color a couple of weeks to become darker. Do not scratch/ pick!

Days 30-40 The tattoo has now become part of the dermis, seen under the epidermis. Perfecting touch up session should be scheduled during this time.

Advantages of Ombré brows over microblading

LESS INVASIVE: Ombré brows are achieved using a small machine, which disperses extremely fine dots of pigments evenly into and across the skin in a shading technique. Microblading uses a hand-tool that creates incisions or small cuts into the skin. Over time, repeated incisions into the same spots will cause trauma to the skin.

LASTS LONGER: Results do vary based on lifestyle, skin type, health, preferences, etc., but a completed ombré brows session, using high-quality pigments, can last on average 2-3 years. Microblading, on the other hand, has a high likelihood of healing blotchy, spotty or with blurred strokes, thus requiring more frequent touch-ups, generating more long term wear and tear on the skin, eventually maxing out the skin’s lifetime capacity quickly. Like any injury to the skin, the body repairs the wounded area by building collagen fibers, creating a scar. Both treatments will eventually dull out the skin in this way permanently, so choosing the right method to save your skin integrity is critical.

GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES: Ombré brows are great for almost any skin type, unlike microblading, which has a very small percentage of candidates.

LESS PAIN & BLEEDING: Ombré brows are less painful due to the brushing technique I apply, which causes less trauma to the skin vs. the blading technique of microblading. The latter also creates cuts into the skin, thus more bleeding is involved. With ombré brows, minimal to zero blood surfaces during the procedure. Some of our clients say that getting ombré brows is a similar sensation to an electric toothbrush pressed against the skin or rapid tweezing; some discomfort is to be expected as a needle is utilized.

STILL LOOKS NATURAL: While ombré brows have a more “filled-in” look, the healed results appear like softly shaded brow pencil or powder. Immediately after the treatment, ombré brows can appear more saturated and bold, however, brows will fade 20-30%, leaving a very soft finish and shape that will allow our clients to quickly groom their brows going forward.
